Terms of Service

These terms describe how the Lumenet account website works today: creating an account, signing in, activating the desktop app on your devices, and managing seats from the dashboard.

What these terms cover

These terms apply to the Lumenet account website (sign-in, signup, password reset, OAuth activation, and dashboard) and your use of account features that connect the site to the desktop app.

They do not replace the End User License Agreement for the Windows desktop software. See the EULA for software-specific license terms.

Your account

You create an account with an email address and password managed through Supabase Auth.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account until you sign out or revoke access.

You can sign out of the current browser session, change your password, or sign out everywhere (ending sessions on all browsers and desktop apps) from the dashboard.

Device activation and seats

Full desktop features require activating Lumenet on each Windows PC through the account site. Activation uses OAuth in your browser: you approve linking your signed-in account to the desktop app running on that computer.

During activation you provide a device name shown in your dashboard. Each active activation consumes a seat on your plan. You can revoke a device from the dashboard to free its seat.

Seat limits are enforced per your subscription record. During pre-release, accounts may operate under default seat limits until paid billing is introduced.

Pre-release and billing

Lumenet is in pre-release. Billing and paid checkout are not live yet — your account is free during pre-release as described on the dashboard.

When billing arrives in a future release, plan details and payment terms will be published before charges apply. This page will be updated before billing goes live.

Acceptable use

Use the account site and activation flow lawfully. Do not attempt to bypass seat limits, interfere with other users, or abuse sign-in or activation endpoints.

Do not share account credentials or sell access to activations outside what your plan allows.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the account site and activation flow change. Material updates will be reflected here before they take effect; continued use after an update means you accept the revised description of how the service works.

Privacy

How we handle account email, authentication metadata, device names, subscription status, site cookies, and desktop network calls is documented in our Privacy Policy . That policy is written to match the product specification (§11): the account service handles sign-in, seats, and entitlement — not your firewall log or connection history.

Desktop software

Use of the Lumenet Windows application is governed by the End User License Agreement .

Lumenet

Lumenet helps you see and control what Windows apps send over the network.

Your rules and activity history stay on your PC.

The account service handles sign-in, seats, and entitlement — not your firewall log.
